Congratulations to Concord’s 2022 leavers who received their A-Level results today. As a cohort they have achieved a stunning 48 % of all their grades at A*, and 81% at A*-A.
Among the successes an incredible 136 students were awarded 3 grade A’s or higher. 58 achieved 3 or more A* grades and 24 students received 4 A*s.
Principal, Dr Michael Truss, said “ I am hugely proud of all our students who, having faced full external examinations for the first time, have returned a stellar set of results as excellent and just reward for their hard work.
“It has not been an easy time for students in any school setting over the past two years, and particularly so for many in our international community. Some Concordians have spent Christmases here at College, away from their families, some have endured weeks in travel quarantine and others have attended lessons from thousands of miles away, sometimes in the middle of the night. Some have persevered with their studies whilst concerned for their families and friends at home. All of this effort to be a part of the wonderful experience that is a Concord education – and to achieve results that will send them off to exciting futures.
“Seeing Concordians of all nationalities achieve such wonderful outcomes once again – with, astonishingly, nearly half of all A Level grades at A* fills me with admiration.”
“To all of our leaving class of 2022: congratulations on your results, Concord is very proud of you, not only for your achievements, but for the outstanding people that you have become.”
